Job Description: Accounts Manager

Arjun Tarpaulin and Industries, a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality tarpaulins, is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Accounts Manager to join our team in Salem. As an Accounts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the financial operations of the company. We are looking for a detail-oriented, motivated, and reliable individual with at least 3 years of experience in an accounts role.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the company's day-to-day accounting and financial activities, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and payroll.

2. Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and financial transactions.

3. Reconcile bank statements and other financial records to maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data.

4. Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to assist in decision-making processes.

5. Monitor cash flow and financial performance, providing recommendations to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

6. Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

7. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and coordinate tax-related matters.

8. Conduct periodic reviews of financial procedures and recommend improvements to enhance the overall financial management process.

9. Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

10. Stay updated with the latest accounting standards and industry best practices to ensure the company's financial practices remain up-to-date and compliant.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2. Proven work experience of at least 3 years in an accounts role, with demonstrated expertise in managing financial activities.

3. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite.

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with acute attention to detail.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

6. Strong organizational and time management abilities, capable of meeting strict deadlines.

7. Knowledge of Indian accounting regulations, tax laws, and statutory requirements.

8. Preferred: Female candidates.

Work Schedule and Compensation:

- The position is a 6-days-a-week job. / Work From Office Role

- Salary compensation: 20,000 INR per month.
