Job Description: Residential Warden

- Position: Residential Warden

- Location: Doddakanya - Mysuru

- Qualification: Minimum Graduate

- Accommodation: Must be willing to reside on the premises.

- Languages: Fluency in English and Kannada is mandatory

- Computer Skills: Absolutely mandatory - Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and eagerness to learn AI tools.

About the Role

Client is looking for a responsible, well-spoken, organised, and compassionate Residential Warden to oversee the day-to-day functioning of the residential facility. The person will be responsible for administration, housekeeping, staff supervision, maintaining discipline, ensuring the well-being of children, and providing basic academic support whenever required.

Key Responsibilities

1. Residential Administration and Management

Oversee the daily administrative operations and smooth functioning of the Institution. Maintain records, registers, attendance, inventories, and other necessary documentation. Coordinate daily schedules, activities, supplies, and general facility requirements.

2. Housekeeping and Facility Management

Supervise housekeeping, cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of the premises. Ensure that rooms, bathrooms, common areas, kitchen, and surrounding spaces are clean and well maintained.

3. Staff Supervision and Coordination

Supervise housekeeping staff, support staff, and other personnel. Allocate duties, monitor attendance, and ensure that responsibilities are carried out effectively.

4. Children's Welfare and Residential Supervision

Ensure the safety, well-being, hygiene, and general welfare of children residing at the Institution. Maintain a structured daily routine, including meals, study hours, activities, and bedtime.

5. Basic Teaching and Academic Support

Assist children with homework, reading, writing, and basic academic concepts as required.

6. Communication and Coordination

Communicate confidently and professionally in English and Kannada and prepare updates and reports on daily operations.

Compensation, Benefits & Other Details

1. Salary: INR 35,000 to 40,000 per month (Upper limit is 40k). Final salary will be based on selection during interview and dependent on skills, experience and education. Please note that Food and Accommodation will be provided on campus, which itself is valued at approx. INR 15,000 to 18,000 in a city like Mysore. Candidates should be convinced accordingly to start at 35k ideally.
