Quality Inspector

Incoming Inspection: Evaluate raw materials and vendor shipments to approve or reject them before they enter the assembly line.

In-Process & Final Testing: Monitor production stages, run functional tests, and inspect finished items to catch defects early.

Dimensional Measurement: Use precision tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges (or Coordinate Measuring Machines - CMMs) to verify that physical dimensions match technical drawings.

Defect Handling: Remove faulty items from the line, trigger containment, and document non-conformances.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed logs, inspection sheets, and reports for management and quality audits.

Collaboration: Work with production and engineering teams to support root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
